This is Hienz Denig's first book on Damascus Steel. There is no English translation as yet. Heinz assures me that if non-German speakers already have his volume 2 with the English translation, then this book will explain itself.
It has plenty of diagrams and photographs showing finished pieces and work in progross, including, the rolling and joining of a pattern welded bar, to make a gun barrel.
