As the title suggests, this is volume 2 of the works by Italian Masters of Wrought Iron. It follows the same format as the 1998 'I Maestri Italiani Del Ferro Battuto'. Volume 2 was published in 2007 and features the next, younger generation of Italian artist blacksmiths. Once again the pages of this oversize, 500 page book, are packed with colour photographs of the work of over 80 artist blacksmiths. The full range of forged items and individual styles are shown on these pages, and once again much of the work shows the different cultural influences the smiths are exposed to.
This time all images are in colour and all the text is accompanied by an English translation.
