Art Metal Forging sets out to give a sense of the changes in metal forging over the last twenty-five years.
It starts with some historical background information and then some information on the tools and techniques used to create modern forged pieces.
Most of the book is devoted to the work of makers and their work, mainly in the UK, with a smaller section on some international artist blacksmiths.
It does have pictures of some interesting work, both finished pieces and work in progress.
