A full colour glossy book, packed with images of installed architectural forged metalwork. Chapters cover entrance ways, including door furniture, through railings, balconies, grilles, staircases, to gates and railings. The work was all made in the latter part of the 20th century, by artist blacksmiths, mainly from the USA, but also including some European and British work.
This book is a collection of images showing the best in modern forged architectural metalwork, from some of the greatest exponents of this art form in the world today. The works are an eclectic mix of styles, from stark, simple fluid lines, to works overflowing with organic forms.
